Using EV Charging – Quick Guide 🚗⚡️
- Locate a charging station: Find a nearby EV charging station using your car’s navigation system or a mobile app dedicated to electric vehicle charging.
- Start the charger: Depending on the charging station, you may need to use a Mastercard, Visa, AMEX card, or a mobile app to start your charging session. Some stations may automatically start charging once connected.
- Connect: Open the charging port in your car and plug the charging connector into your vehicle’s charging port.
- Charge: Monitor the charging progress via your car’s display or the charging station’s display. Many chargers have indicator lights to show the charging status.
- Wait or return later: Charging times vary depending on the capacity of your car’s battery and the power level of the charging station. You can wait at the charging station or return later to pick up your fully charged EV.
- Unplug and Go: Once your EV is charged, safely unplug the charging cable from your car’s port and return it to the charging station (if required). You’re now ready to hit the road with a full battery!
